Hi! My name is Paula, and I am British-Chilean. I have a PGCE from which I graduated with a 1st, over 9 years of experience teaching languages, and have been an official examiner for A Levels and GCSEs.

When teaching students that are preparing for their exams, I adopt an exam-focused approach, dedicating time to each language skillΓÇölistening, speaking, reading, and writingΓÇöindividually. I incorporate past papers into lessons to build confidence and develop effective exam strategies.

I also teach students in primary, as well as adults wishing to start or continue learning a language. For younger learners, my approach is interactive, utilising videos, songs, and games to make learning engaging. For adult learners, depending on your targets, our focus can be anywhere from conversation to career-oriented language, and we would use a variety of media too. I tailor my lessons to each studentΓÇÖs goals and unique learning style, and I believe in making studying fun and motivating. This way, a student can build confidence, improve learning effectiveness, and maximise their potential.

My students consistently achieve excellent progress and have fun during our lessons. In our first session, I will assess your current level, determine key targets, and create a tailored program designed to help you achieve your goals.
